I am a second-year Ph.D. student in Environmental Economics at the Bren School of Environmental Science and the Department of Economics, University of California, Santa Barbara. My research focuses on development and environmental economics with a focus on how citizens in developing countries decide to consume and conserve natural resources.

I graduated from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2017 with a degree in economics. Before starting graduate school I did desk and field research for three years at Evidence in Governance and Politics, UCLA and the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives, Pakistan.
